---Old times in Russia, how I love them! I have no idea if I would have same strength and motivation, to go back in 1990's and do the same things all over again.

---Lets get back in 1990', Astrakhan, Russia, great City on the banks of the river Volga. I have seen many of my school mates are getting crazy about DM and somehow I was not much inspired. It is very hard to make an exact recall how it "happened" and I became a DM freak. I was having a big laugh when 1st time I've heard Black Celebration. It was really not in my style back in 1988, some years after it was a "hit" for me. As all of you know, when you are interested in something, same time you start to meet people with same kind of an interest. As soon as I have called myself a "DM fan" I have started to meet other fans, defining them by the clothes, haircut etc. One day, if I recall well, somewhere in the end of 1990 we had a 1st organized meeting, around 15 persons. I was surprised that DM fans can be 10 years older then me, I was 15 y.o. these days. This was 1st and last meeting with same people, only two of them I have seen after. They have got busy, families, studies...different reasons. Every day and week I have got new fans to meet with and spend nice moments talking about Dm and listening to their music together.

---Idea of a Fan Club was spontaneous and soon we had a logo, which was not saved and lost after some years, and FC title. I have got a nickname, my friends due to my DM addiction, called me "Dave", so fan club title was chosen as "Action Home Fan Club Dave and Co". Do not remember why we have chosen so long and hard to understand title.

---Fan Club had to bring satisfaction to it's members. These days we had not much information to be given to our members, photocopies of interviews, lyrics, pre-recorded tapes and reels to share and sell. All income, which was not big at all, was spent for new recordings and attributes. For the first year we had about 20+ members. Meetings were much more constant and exciting then before. We became real friends. In 1991 I have placed an advert about our FC in local newspaper (which finaly started to post any info about DM after our appearence))and as a result of that we had newcomers in our FC. Some time later we had particialy gathered in local newspaper studio and gave an interview. It is very funny to read, especially me, telling some stories about DM and what I had that time, seems like something I completely understand different now then before, you may read reproduction from this interview here. I have communicated with some of the fans via newspaper, it was very helpful those days.

---Year after, I had had a great relations with local commercial TV producer and Music Programm "Video Hit" leader, we had agreed to make some test shots of our FC and show us on TV and let the others know "that we are exist". Test programm was shot in my apartment and thereafter it was shown on local TV channel, and brought us success. We had an approval to make more programs on TV. I think in period of 1991-1994 we had shot 6-7 programs, only 3 of them are recorded on VHS and I have them at home. These days I am trying to make digital versions of them and may be, there will be a possibility to upload them and allow to download to my visitors. ---Unfortunately, I am not in touch with anyone of the FC members since 1995, I have immigrated to Israel and all connections are lost, except one person which lives in Volgograd, we are rarely communicate, the other side does not have constant internet connection and we phone each other from time to time.

---Here, in Israel, my DM activity has stopped, but I have many DM fans as mates here. 1995-2000 our meetings were on monthly basis, but later once twice a year. We became older, some of us have families and all these meetings became rare. Just for fun, for the story end, I will add this funny caricature of me, done by my old friend Nikita Leontieff, back in 1993.
